Fairtrade Label On A Banana, Representing Fairtrade Fortnight & Ways For EYFS, Primary & Secondary Students To Investigate It

Raise awareness of the Fairtrade movement and prepare for Fairtrade Fortnight with assemblies, activities and lesson ideas

Fairtrade Fortnight 2025 takes place from 22 September - 5 October. With the theme of 'Do It Fair', Fairtrade Foundation are asking us to consider that together, our actions can have a positive impact on real people’s lives. Fairer pay. Fairer treatment. Fairer futures. Why not use this opportunity to encourage students to think about and evaluate their own impact on the world, and learn about the origins of their food and the lives of the farmers that grow them?

To help you explore the theme of Fairtrade, we have gathered together a range of engaging resources from the Fairtrade Foundation and the Tes community, with everything from Fairtrade KS2 and KS3 assemblies and games exploring different food producers across the world to Fairtrade lessons and activities designed to investigate how better pricing, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade can make a big difference to farmers around the world.
